Posterous theme by Cory Watilo

About

so this is about the 15th version of some sort of blog/site since I started doing this stuff back in '98. I have gone through many different ideas and renditions of different sites, domains, and hosts; now I'm to the point where I like having a place to throw my images, video clips, and short thoughts up on the web. I'm in the process of moving from Tumblr.com to Posterous - I don't dislike Tumblr, I just really love the simplicity of Posterous. Just email whatever it is (most of my pics and videos are taken with my iPhone, so it's quick and easy to get them online.) There are a couple of other things driving me to the way of Posterous, I'm moving to a more anonymous exsistance online -  not completely, but not so open anymore, either. I'm also cheap/frugal, so getting rid of my hosting bill is a big positive to me.

For the "About Me" info...

I'm a thirty-something (proud)AMERICAN Christian Husband, Father, Brother, Son living in God's Country (Texas - Born & Raised). I enjoy a simplified life, outside of the hustle and bustle that I use to finance my simple life... I'm a techno-geek, a learn-as-I-go:

  • electrician
  • carpenter
  • contractor
  • horticulturist (?).

In my life, we fund fun. We love God, Family, and Country (state). I don't use credit cards, I do my best to pay cash for everything - I did have to get a mortgage for the house. (Huge Dave Ramsey Fan)

I believe in Jesus Christ, my savior. I love listening to Joel Osteen.

Give me something that I can believe
And then I'll share it with
the world for everyone to see
Take away the darkness, all the pain and sadness
I know it's you that put this light inside of me

I believe in a faith that's strong
I believe in a hope that carries on
I believe in these things and more
Most of all, most of all
I believe in love

If I had the strength to move a mountain
Would you be amazed by all of my abilities
I guess it would not mean
much if I didn't have love
And this is what I really
want you all to see

 -Third Day's "I Believe"

All in all, I'm just a simple man who would describe myself, simply, as "country".
